Let me reinforce Elizabeth&#039;s recommendation to start a gratitude journal - it&#039;s the single best thing most people can do to improve their world view.

A few points: it really on ly needs to be 3 things a day (research has shown that 3 actually works better than 10)

Also, it&#039;s a good practice to write down why you think the things you&#039;re grateful for happened. It helps develop a positive explanatory style.
